Pradeep Dadlani

Pradeep Dadlani, Director, Sycom Projects Consultants Pvt. Ltd and Head-TOFT Pug-Audit Team is BE (Mech) from BITS Pilani and MBA degree from FMS, University of Delhi. He is also an accredited Environmental Safeguards Specialist with The World Bank. He has over 30 years of experience in the Sectors such as Environment, Water Health and Sanitation, Waste Management (Solid/Liquid), Industry, Tourism, Project Management and Infrastructure.

During his three decades of professional tenure, he has worked on various projects on different capacities. He has donned many roles such as Team Leader, Sector Expert, Waste Management Expert, Environment and Social Safeguards Specialist. Project Coordinator in many countries including India, Nepal, Middle East, Bangladesh, Australia, Indonesia etc.

Some of the prestigious clients for whom he has worked include The World Bank, GIZ, DANIDA, NORAD, DFID, European Commission as well as many Central and State Government Departments/Agencies. He is a STC with the World Bank as Environment Safeguards Specialist.

The projects he has worked on include Impact Assessment of Uttarakhand Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme (WSSP) World Bank funded for SWSM, Uttarakhand (The World Bank), Study on Drinking Water issues and Initiatives in India for Tata CHEMICALS , Review of Rural Drinking Water Project in Jharkhand funded (The World Bank), Review and Verification Study of Environmental and Social Considerations (ESC) Implementation Status Yen Loan Projects in India (JICA), Baseline Study of Cities for the Project, “Innovation Hub for Urban WASH Solutions” Faridabad –National Capital Region (NCR) Haryana and Mysore, Karnataka (NIUA & USAID), Case study on RRR BUSINESS (Wastewater to- values) for IWMI (International Water Management Institute, Sri Lanka), Study on Waste Water Treatment Market in India (NORAD), City Sanitation Plan for Hoshangabad City for The World Bank, Development of Waste Management Strategy under Mina Sultan Qaboos Port Redevelopment as Team Leader, DPR on SWM for more than 15 cities of India, development of Healthcare Waste Management Plan for Afghanistan etc.

Pradeep’s role in the project focuses on inputs for Identification of the slum area from a list of prospects, field visits, identifying the needs of vulnerability groups with regard to Water Supply, Sewage, Drainage and overall Sanitation, Meeting with Govt. bodies etc., Work with consortium partner to identify the relevant Australian good practices and technologies which could be adopted in India.
