Personal Experience
With over 20 years professional experience, Emily has been fortunate to work in some of Australia’s leading Architecture and Landscape Architecture studios as well as for The City of Melbourne. Having experience as both client and consultant, she has developed a unique breadth of experience, strong collaborative approach and passion for innovation and design excellence at every stage of the project. She is committed to continual learning and working with honesty, authenticity, and creativity.
She holds a special interest in ephemeral, elemental and experiential qualities of site. An intuitive designer who embraces the poetics of landscape and the power of narrative and storytelling. Through merging this approach with real-world science and data she believes we can advocate and steer positive change for future generations.
Able to work at a range of scales with experience in complex, multidisciplinary projects as well as smaller community-led plans, she brings her rich strategic knowledge and commitment to design advocacy and consultation to every engagement. Emily is an active AILA member and has participated regularly in design review panels for RMIT, Deakin University and the City of Melbourne through which she has developed a deep commitment to mentoring and fostering future designers.
