Community Water Forum

Delhi is working towards ensuring long-term water security, and two communities are leading this by setting an example – Bakkarwala Resettlement Colony and Mubarakpur Dabas. A first-of-its-kind Community Water Forum has been set up in partnership with WRI India, McGregor Coxall and Mahila Housing Trust under AIWASI. These forums will help in resilience-building in the face of climate change driven water-related risks, especially in the disadvantaged and most vulnerable sections of the society. The Community Water Forums provide a platform to bring together for discussions and brainstorming on making these communities water-sensitive.
